Training for back and joint pain in Krakow

What this kind of training means

It is personal training in which the starting point is not a look you want, but the thing that is getting in your way. Lower back pain after eight hours at a desk, a stiff neck, a knee that speaks up on the stairs, a body that after two years off no longer wants what it used to.

We work first on making movement stop hurting, and then on getting your body to carry more than before. The order runs that way and not the other: control and range of motion first, weight second.

This is training, not physiotherapy or rehabilitation. We do not diagnose and we do not treat. If you have a fresh injury, severe or radiating pain, or a diagnosis that needs treatment, see a doctor or a physiotherapist first.

How we choose the load

The trainer runs the whole session and watches how you perform every movement. The load is set by what they can see on the floor and by what you say about how you feel that day, not by what was written down on Monday.

Pain goes down here for two reasons: your movement pattern improves, and your muscles start carrying load that your joints and spine were taking instead. That is work measured in weeks and months, not in one session, and we say so from the first conversation.

After physiotherapy, what next

A lot of people come to us at the point where the therapy has finished, the pain has gone, and the instructions have gone with it. What is left is the question of what to do now so that it does not come back.

That is exactly the stage we work at. If you have recommendations from a physiotherapist, bring them - the trainer will build the plan so that it does not cut across them.

How we start

It starts with a conversation about the pain

A conversation

You tell us what is bothering you, since when, and what you have already tried. On that basis we match a trainer and work out whether this is the moment for training at all, or first for a specialist.

The first session

We check which movements are fine for you and which provoke pain. The plan comes out of what we can see on the floor.

Adding load gradually

The load grows at a pace you can handle. If something starts to hurt we step back rather than push through it.

Price per session

160 - 180PLN

This is billed exactly like any other one-to-one session. The rate depends on how many sessions your package holds.

Questions

Before you come in with pain

No. A physiotherapist examines you, makes a diagnosis and runs the therapy. We run training and work with movement and load. One often follows the other, but one does not replace the other. If after talking to you we think you need a specialist first, we will say so plainly.

Yes, and it is worth doing. The trainer will build the plan so that it does not clash with what you were given, and will know which movements to avoid at this stage.

You say so immediately and we change the exercise or the range of motion. Training is not supposed to hurt - pain during a session is information that we picked something wrong, not something to be endured.

First step

Tell us what hurts

Call and describe the problem. If this is the moment for training, we will match a trainer. If it is not, we will tell you instead of signing you up for a package.
