Progress

What they came for and what they achieved

Every story follows the same outline: the goal, the obstacle, the plan and the result. Surnames are shortened to an initial.

Shape and strength

Patrycja K.

6 months and counting

CoachKrzysztof Żuchowski

off the waist
−10 cm
off the thighs
−4 cm
on the hips
+4 cm
Goal
Lose some weight and build a more athletic, feminine shape.
Challenge
No training experience, limited hip mobility and a worry that strength training would make her bulky.
How we trained
Three times a week: two sessions in the studio and one on her own. The first month was technique and mobility, then gradually heavier loads and new eating habits.
Result
Only 2 kg lighter on the scale, but a clearly different shape: a narrower waist, slimmer thighs and more defined hips. Plus a lot more strength and confidence.
“A great studio with a really good atmosphere and a professional approach. I especially recommend trainer Krzysztof Żuchowski - competent, committed and great at motivating. The sessions are effective, safe and enjoyable.”

Knee and back pain

Aleksandra S. and her mum

CoachPiotr Żak

Goal
Aleksandra's mum works as a nurse: she wanted to get rid of knee and back pain, learn to lift safely and improve her fitness. Aleksandra had never trained before and wanted to get stronger.
Challenge
Not believing that at 60 you can lift weights, or that it would help sore knees and a sore lower back. The barrier was belief, not age.
How we trained
Once a week: a circuit strengthening the whole body, plus work on range of motion and stability.
Result
The pain eased after the first few sessions. Aleksandra's mum now turns a patient onto their side on her own - she used to need a second person for that. Aleksandra, who works at a desk, no longer has back trouble.
“Active Zone is a place where the sweat pours and the laughter drowns out the music. Trainer Piotrek is a real wizard - you walk in tired of life and walk out tired from training... but with a huge grin on your face.”

After injury and surgery

Marta M.

CoachKamila Śledziowska

Goal
Get back to full fitness after several injuries and major surgery.
Challenge
A serious injury and an operation called for a careful approach and a detailed plan, both for the coming weeks and for the long run.
How we trained
Twice a week: restorative exercises combined with strength training.
Result
Back to full function, with no pain or discomfort in everyday life.
“I wholeheartedly recommend training with Kamila! Thanks to her, hoping to get back in shape after several injuries and major surgery stopped being just a hope and became our shared, real success. Session by session I feel huge progress, more strength and better mobility.”

Back pain

Iwona

CoachPiotr Żak

Goal
Get rid of back pain that had been there for years and make exercise a permanent part of the week.
Challenge
The pain made it hard to find exercises she could do in reasonable comfort, and there was little time in the week.
How we trained
Once a week: mostly stretching and mobility work, with strengthening added whenever the pain allowed.
Result
The pain hardly shows up in everyday life any more. Iwona now does at least three hours of activity a week and hikes in the mountains, which used to cost her a week of discomfort.
“A great atmosphere, no crowds, zero stress, and plenty of support and laughter instead. That is exactly what our sessions with Piotr look like - a master of motivation and the destroyer of couch-potato habits.”

Pain and mobility

Kirill D.

CoachPiotr Żak

Goal
Get rid of pain, build strength, improve range of motion and sort out nutrition.
Challenge
Years of struggling to gain weight, discomfort in many exercises and basic movement patterns that had to be built from scratch.
How we trained
Twice a week in the studio, adjusted to how he felt that day, plus simple exercises to do on his own at least twice a week.
Result
More strength and better range of motion, and with that clearly less pain. Loads he used to avoid became possible.
“I trained with Piotr. To begin with, he determined what needed improvement. Throughout the session, he always paid close attention to my technique. If I had any issues or pain, he always knew how to address them with stretching or special exercises. After just a couple of weeks, I was able to handle loads that I had previously avoided.”

Getting fit again

Agnieszka L.

8 months, regularly

CoachDaniel Zwoliński

Goal
Lose body fat, gain strength and muscle, and rebuild fitness after an illness.
Challenge
No knowledge of technique and no experience choosing exercises or loads.
How we trained
Twice a week: a full-body workout with a short conditioning circuit at the end.
Result
Proper technique and the ability to plan her own training, more strength, fitness and muscle, and a smaller waist.
“Trainer Daniel is an excellent specialist. We have been training regularly for eight months on plans he writes individually for us, and the results show not only in how we look but in our fitness and how we feel.”

Boxing and strength

Katarzyna S.

almost 4 years

Goal
Start moving, get stronger and more toned.
Challenge
Little time, little energy and no love for the gym.
How we trained
We looked for a kind of training Katarzyna would enjoy for years, not just while working with us. Boxing combined with strength work turned out to be the answer.
Result
She has been training with us for almost four years. More energy for everyday life, good habits that stuck, and despite being petite she packs a real punch.
“My favourite gym! Full of committed trainers, with a small-scale atmosphere built around adapting training to very different needs. I have been coming for over a year - thanks to the guys I got stronger, learned to box, and my afternoons are full of good vibes!”

Building the habit

Karol L.

CoachTomasz Łakomiec

Goal
Turn motivation into discipline. Karol was not a beginner, but his technique and range of motion needed work.
Challenge
Fitting sessions around his schedule and building a lasting habit.
How we trained
Two to three times a week, full-body training with activation drills that remove discomfort in some movements.
Result
Training is no longer something for when there is spare time - it is a fixed point of the week. Better range of motion and more strength.
“Highly recommended, especially if, like me, you struggle to stay motivated to train regularly. Trainer Tomek takes a very individual and professional approach to every session.”

Sport

Denisa M.

CoachKamila Śledziowska

Goal
Better performance as a futsal goalkeeper.
Challenge
None really - she knows exactly why she is here and gets the work done.
How we trained
Twice a week: reflexes, reaction time for hands and feet, stability and strength.
Result
Faster, more confident saves, and injury-prevention work carried her through the whole season without an injury.
“I am a futsal goalkeeper, so the sessions combine strength, speed and coordination work with reflex drills. Kamila knows a huge amount, can explain every exercise and corrects my technique, so training is not only effective but safe too.”

Consistency

Sabina D.

CoachKamila Śledziowska

Goal
Start exercising regularly.
Challenge
Motivation and energy that came and went.
How we trained
Strength training twice a week - varied enough to avoid boredom, but planned so progress could be tracked.
Result
Much more strength and energy and a leaner figure. Exercise and a healthy lifestyle have become a habit.
“The sessions are varied and matched to my level. Kamila explains every exercise carefully, keeps an eye on technique and is very good at motivating me - even on days when I really do not feel like it.”

Training as a pair

Natalia and Łukasz

a year and counting

Goal
Get hooked and train regularly - and above all, properly.
Challenge
Hardly any - they were disciplined and worked hard. Natalia's knee sometimes hurt, but remembering to stretch took care of it.
How we trained
Two to three times a week, full-body training.
Result
Łukasz built muscle, Natalia lost body fat, and both are clearly stronger.
“Recommended! A professional team of trainers. We dropped in to try it out and have stayed for a year.”

A fresh start

Małgorzata M.

CoachKamila Śledziowska

Goal
Get back to regular exercise after a bad experience with another trainer, and ease tension and pain.
Challenge
Trust had to be rebuilt first. On top of that, very low energy and back problems.
How we trained
Twice a week, adjusted to how she felt on the day: mobility work combined with strengthening.
Result
Less tension, stronger muscles and clearly less pain in everyday activities. More energy day to day.
“From the very first day I was delighted with my trainer Kamila's approach - she is very professional with everyone. I am a lady of about 60, I feel great in Kamila's sessions, and she can motivate me to exercise even when it seems I will not manage.”

Kids

Siblings aged 10 and 13

Goal
Get the kids to love movement and healthy habits.
Challenge
In the age of smartphones it is hard to get kids moving. Gaps in basic movement patterns, low fitness and posture problems.
How we trained
Twice a week, matched to their age and ability and designed to be fun, with some education so it sticks.
Result
Noticeably better posture and good movement and eating habits. The kids now try different sports on their own to find the one they will stick with.
“My kids, aged 10 and 13, go to sessions with the trainer together and they go willingly, which was not a given at the start. The trainer adjusts the pace and load to what they can do, is competent and thorough, and his cheerful manner keeps them working.”
